Soccer goes to playoffs

By Dylan KnightGranite Hills High School girls’ soccer will be participating in their first play-off game tonight at 6 p.m. at Granite Hills.
“After a long rough season, we shook it off, rubbed some mud on it, and made it to playoffs,” said senior, Lorina Villareal. “We’ll have to turn up the intensity level of the game and pull through with a win." The eighth seed Lady Grizzlies will be battling it out with the ninth seed Lindsay High School Cardinals.
If the Grizzlies win this match against Lindsay, they will advance on and play again. If they don’t bring their A-game and this game is lost, this will be the last game for the girls. Hopefully, they leave it all out on the field.
“I’m expecting to win and go on to the next round,” said senior, Stephanie Ruiz. “I know our team has it in them."
The cost of the game will be three dollars with student card and five dollars for everyone else, so come out and support the Grizzlies in their first play-off game.
