When and Where: Every Friday during lunch in room 811

Every day during lunch there is an anime showing. Anime is Japanese style cartoons.

"This club encourages everyone in their form of art," Roberta Simpson, sophmore, said. “It’s fun, creative and a great club where you can express yourself through anime art.”

The Anime club talks about known shows like "Naruto" and "Inuyasha" and others like "Blood" and "Elfen Lied". They share art work and music.Twice a year they have Mini Anime Expos, which have silly themes. It is a small club that encourages anyone to join and have fun in the art of anime.

"They are wild and fun, but know how to keep control," Jennifer Arreguin said. “The club is really fun we are trying to do as much exciting things as we can. Every day we show anime in Mr. Wilder’s and on Fridays we have a mandatory anime meeting. It’s just a fun club.”

The Anime club is planning on their next expo they are going to have, starting around March. After that their next move is to save money to take a trip to comic con, a big convention that has lots to offer for kids that love Anime etc. The convention theme contains characters that are from comic books, video games, as well as popular characters from TV series and shows. The Anime club Is planning to gain money that way they can have the right to take these trips to these big events.

The Anime is going to postponed their expo until after sping break. If you have any intrest in giving idea for the Expo go to room 811 and ask for Bella or Julia. They will be selling presold tickets soon.

Anime club is having more expo to attend to come, towards the ending of the school year Anime might discuss to have one more trip to attend before the summer finally hits. For more information talk to Julia Navarrete to get further info.

Anime club is making changes. they apologize for not being able to have the last expo. They need new club members anyone willing to have fun. They want to make the following year the best that Granite has ever had. If you are at all interested go to room 811 on Friday to sign in.

Update:

The Anime club is planning on having a movie game night! Any of the members and any one that want to join the club can join us. The movie night will be in one of your members humble homes. We will be discussing the movie night on April 4. It will be in the Anime room 811. Come and join!
