Victor Espinoza is currently a senior at Granite Hills High School, he participates in multiple clubs and serves as the president for Rotary Interact Club, Vice President for Z-Club, and an officer for CSF. Victor also won male youth of the year from the Porterville Chamber of Commerce. Madison Rice is currently a junior at Granite Hills High School, she is a flyer for the varsity cheerleading squad and participates in multiple clubs. She is the president of GHHS FFA, project director for Rotary Interact, and the principal dancer for Revolution ballet company, she also won Girls State this school year. This is Madison's second year in the gazette, she serves as managing editor this year as well as a writer for entertainment. She likes to write reviews on rock bands and video games. Kassarah Bivens is currently a sophomore at Granite Hills High School. This is Kassarah’s first year on the Grizzly Gazette, where she is the editor for the Photo of the Day. She is a member of the Wilderness Club and was on the J.V. soccer team. Outside of campus Kassarah loves to do volunteer work such as helping clean up the lake once a year, volunteer acting, and being a volunteer to help get pets adopted from an animal shelter every Saturday. Some of Kassarah’s favorite activities are camping, drawing, and playing with her dogs. | |

Taylor Merritt is a Sophomore reporter and the entertainment page editor for the Grizzly Gazette. Taylor is also a Granite Hills cheerleader. Sarah Vehrs is currently a freshman at Granite Hills High School. She is on the management team for the Grizzly Gazette where she is the sports editor. She reports for the entertainment section of the newspaper as well. She is involved in volleyball, basketball, and softball. Outside of school, she is Vice President in 4-H where she shows her dogs and horses. Jody Georgianna is the Opinion page editor and also a lead investigative journalist for the Grizzly Gazette. She is very dedicated to the work she puts into the paper. Outside of the Grizzly Gazette, she spends her time focused on her three AP classes, volleyball and her job. Mario Madrigal is the head of the Grizzly Gazette's video department. Mario, along with the other members of the video department take video of various events at school as well as the Porterville community. Mario has been part of the Grizzly Gazette for three years, including this year, and has worked his way up to become the head of the video department. Mario is a three sport athlete, this meaning he participates in a sport for every season during the school year: cross country, wrestling, and track and field. Mario takes his curiosity for technology outside of school, he is constantly finding new things to do with his computer. | |

Sheng Lor is currently a senior at Granite hills high school and the page editor for the Yearbook. Former tennis player of three years and involved with Asian American club for the past four years. Besides being the photo editor, she is also one of the two graphic designers for the Grizzly Gazette. Sheng enjoys taking artistic/high speed photography on her spare time. She is also currently in choir for the past year and a half and enjoys singing foreign songs. Sheng enjoys reading Nicholas Sparks novels and spending time with her friends and family. | |

Tenny Chan he is currently a Junior at Granite Hills. This is his first year as one of the video editors in the Gazette. His job is self-explanatory, he edits video. When he is not busy editing videos, he likes to travel to different cities with his pals. His activities in school consist of being an active member in Asian American Club and singing in the Grizzly Concert Choir. Out of school, Tenny enjoys spending time with his friends and remodeling cars. Also, he tries to be as active as possible in his community. He also loves to donate old clothes and toys to the local Goodwill for kids who are less fortunate. | |

Victor Yanez is a technician for the grizzly gazette. His job in the newspaper is to post articles and solve technical difficulties. As a junior he has played three years of varsity tennis and a year of water polo as the goal keeper. On his time away from school he enjoys feeding the ducks at the local park and helping old lady’s cross the street. |
