If only there was a world, where there were magical creatures, gruesome war, and mysterious places that have yet to be explored.

But, there is!!! I’m not talking about Harry Potter either.

World of Warcraft has captivated the minds of the young and old people, almost to the point where it consumes their entire lives. Don’t believe me? Then I believe the 30 day free trial is just for you.

“World of Warcraft is so epic, it deserves an award. I believe that a major factor of the game is it’s addiction,” said sophomore Carina Felix.

Blizzard Entertainment announced the original World of Warcraft September 3, 2001. The actual game was released.

World of Warcraft, also known as: WoW has an array of series. Such as: Cataclysm, The Wrath of the Lich King, and the Burning Crusade.

The game has over characters 12 characters. Horde contains six character types Orcs, Trolls, Tauren, Blood Elves, Undead, Goblin. Alliance has six of it’s own as well. Humans, Night Elves, Dwarves, Gnomes, Dranei, and Worgen.

The level cap for any character with any expansion is level 85. However each expansion added on a different level cap.

Of all 12 characters you can choose 10 different classes. Warrior, Paladin, Hunter, Priest, Mage, Warlock, Rouge, Death Knight (after level 55), Druids, and Shaman.

“I play both sides, because I really like playing through the stories through all the different characters,” said senior Kyle Gibbs.

A player can even customize his character. That is if you pay for it. WoW has a money system so unreal, that you can buy it in stores like Target, GameStop, and many more. They have a bronze, silver, and gold money currency.

World of Warcraft recently surpassed 12 million players for the end of 2010. As the game expands so does the amount of players.

Evan Hackett’s niece, who got accepted on to a college softball team, played the three years of college on World of Warcraft. Where she met her husband on World of Warcraft,; they also got married.

Kyle Gibbs sister’s friend also got married through World of Warcraft to a man from Australia.

Over all World of Warcraft is one of the best computer games of all time, the invention of WoW should be put into a book of legends. It’s a great game and I highly recommend it to everyone.
