A new generation has been created with the Xbox 360's Kinect. It has taken gaming to a whole new level, literally. It's family friendly, as well as futuristic.

Owners of Kinect can also control it by using their voices. Kinect maintains all of the original features of the Xbox 360 with a major adjustment, such as the projection of the player’s body on the screen.

The Kinect can read people’s faces and sign them into their account.

“It’s revolutionary, it actually works, unlike the Wii,” said sophomore Brad Stailey

The games it comes with are minimal, but many companies are still investing in the types of games. Though few games have yet to be released, there is still great reviews on the Kinect.

“Kinect is the greatest thing to ever happen to the gaming world,” said Clayton Congdon.

Dance Central, Kinect Sports, and Adventure were the first three games that took the Kinect world by storm.

The controversy over the Kinect and Wii has created an uproar of players complaining about Kinect. I, however, believe it is one of the greatest inventions ever created.

“I wish I could play Xbox Kinect all the time, I love it,” said sophomore Bailey Ross

Kinect for Xbox is a great way to exercise and to be active with the Xbox avatar.
