Life of the party in everything that he does, senior swimmer, Doug Maynor, keeps active in and out of school.

While maintaining a 3.0 GPA, Manyor has also stayed busy with extracurricular activities. Since the beginning of Maynor’s senior year he has had a full plate, being the captain of the varsity water polo team, a homecoming candidate, swimming captain, working at Nuckoles Ranch, and staying in touch with his friends and family.

“I swim so I can stay in shape, and so I can look good for my dream job,” Manyor said when asked why he swam.

Maynor hopes to get into the entertainment business.

Manyor keeps a positive outlook on life only wishing for happiness in future.

However his mom wishes for a little more than just happiness,”I want for Doug to succeed in life,” said Lynn Rhodes.

For Maynor succeeding is to be happy, staying in shape, and having a job that pays well. Maynor is going to take a year off of school so he can get a job and save up money.

Then maybe after he will go to college and play for water polo team at the next level.
