Dear Corporate Sponsors:
Granite Hills High School's award winning online newspaper would like to invite you to become a corporate sponsor and help provide funding for the Gazette staff to attend the National Scholastic Press Association's Spring Journalism Conference in Anaheim, California in April, 2008. In return for your sponsorship, an advertisement will be designed for you by the Gazette staff. If you wish, your advertisement can be linked to your company's Web site. Having your company's advertisement appear in the Grizzly Gazette is a unique opportunity for your company to become associated with a living example of the American Dream.
Granite Hills is a Title I high school, which means that 85 percent of its students qualify for free or reduced cost lunches, yet the Grizzly Gazette was named by the NSPA as one of the top three online newspapers in America. The Online Pacemaker Award has been considered the Pulitzer Prize of high school journalism. The two other Pacemaker winners for 2007 were Palo Alto High School, located by Stanford University and Urbana High School, which is an experimental high school located on the University of Illinois, Urbana campus.
The Gazette staff would like your company to join our family of corporate sponsors and support us in our quest to repeat as NSPA Online Pacemaker winners. Our goal is to raise $15,000 to pay for student costs at the NSPA Spring Journalism Conference. The Grizzly Gazette is updated daily and can be viewed at: grizzlygazette.net.
The Grizzly Gazette Family of Corporate Sponsorships:
